COMMUNITY LIASON OFFICER - NNDC
An opportunity has arisen for a creative and passionate person to join our Supporting Communities team. You will take a lead role in making sure that the Council proactively achieves its legislative responsibilities, corporate vision and policy for equalities and community cohesion and support and advise the Council with regards to engaging and consulting with community members.
Previous experience in the planning and delivery of day to day operational services and an understanding of and commitment to Equalities are essential

NORFOLK BLACK HISTORY MONTH 08
October heralds the 6th annual Norfolk Black History Month, and this year promises to be the biggest and best celebrations to date.
Highlights this year include MOBO Award-winning Hip Hop arist Sway, the inaugural Norfolk Black Film Festival, The Gentlemen of Motown, comedian Richard Blackwood and the legendary reggae artist Macka B.

NORFOLK'S HIDDEN HERITAGE
We have successfully completed this project and far exceeded our initial aims and objectives. We have uncovered previously unknown links between Norfolk and the transatlantic slavery and have evidenced a continuous BME presence in Norfolk for over 400 years.
